A tech question for all you who remember the fruity iMacs…I have a g3 333 Lombard (rev D) factory with 32mb RAM. I just popped in a couple of 128mb DIMMs, to total 256mb. The thing screams compared to what it was doing. It now has System 9.2.2. I’m going to pass it on to a newbie and am wanting opinions on which OS to put on it.
OS9 – obsolete, but seems to run fine and I have some apps for 9 that will be a good addition.
OSX – can still run a dual boot with 9 (but 6G HD – ouch) or Classic, more modern OS. But which version is optimal? I’m thinking Jag.
